Mitochondria and peroxisomes are ubiquitous subcellular organelles, which are highly
dynamic and display large plasticity. Recent studies have led to the surprising finding that
both organelles share components of their division machinery, namely the dynamin-related
protein DLP1/Drp1 and hFis1, which recruits DLP1/Drp1 to the organelle membranes. This

Recent studies have led to the surprising finding that both organelles share components of their division machinery, namely the dynamin-related protein DLP1/Drp1 and hFis1, which recruits DLP1/Drp1 to the organelle membranes.
