Inorganic phosphate is essential for skeletal mineralization and for multiple cellular
functions, including glycolysis, gluconeogenesis, DNA synthesis, RNA synthesis, cellular
protein phosphorylation, and intracellular regulatory roles. Normally, dietary intake, intestinal
